Strategic Planning Sessions

Using the ICA Strategic Planning method, ParticipAction can bring its process-expertise to assist, in a short time (two full days), a group of up to 30 to define its vision and develop a manageable number of key strategies to reach that vision.  The method helps an organization by:

• Developing a common vision for the future with strategies, solutions, and action plans to achieve that vision
• Developing greater commitment and ability to implement decisions and strategies
• Producing more innovation -- a larger portfolio of ideas
• Providing a common framework for decision making, communication, planning, and problem solving
• Encouraging initiative and responsibility

The key outputs of the process are a clear and common vision and short term plans to achieve that vision. ParticipAction complements this work with a variety of other facilitated techniques for organizational or project analysis (namely SWOT, the Wall of Wonder - a timeline of the history and future of the organization or project, Customer and Competitor Analysis, Graphic Facilitation, among others) in order to give the organization a full view into its future.
